Change stock A/C knob insert colors

Hey guys, I have been looking around for this for a while and I can't find anything..

I want to keep my stock a/c knobs but I want to change the blue insert to a red insert (or even clear). Has anyone done this or know if I would be able to buy the inserts?

If it it is anything like the gauges I believe it is just scrape it off then put some colored vinyl but I'm not sure I never do it before

Unfortunately it isn't, the knob has a piece of transparent blue acrylic that would need to be changed out in order to pick your own color. That's the piece I'm trying to replace.
