cheaper carbon fiber hood than hyland?

I really want a carbon fiber hood but hyland is the only on I see making them and there 1500 bucks....Any other company making them?

I'll ask around @ Fabulous Fords Forever...
Someone local was touting the very same hood for under $1000.00...

For only 18 lbs worth of weight savings it isn't worth it to me for cost. Now if your hood was destroyed and needed a new one fiberglass or carbon fiber would be the way to go. JMO

ox - thanks for posting those pics, they were just what I needed to see. After I get my seats I might have to go ahead and order the SHM CF hood.

very cool. I'd like to see it painted black. I'd pay big for weight savings, its definately what we need!
