cheaper carbon fiber hood than hyland?

If I was to buy one of these hoods I would definetely leave it unpainted that looks awesome. They are also making a carbon fiber trunk. But for only 18 Ibs it is not worth it IMO unless something happened and my hood had to be replaced CP.

I would also leave it unpainted, if you are going to paint it you might as well save your money and just get a fiberglass one. I am just trying to find out who made the hoods in those pics?

By painting the hood, you'd just add weight. Paint does have mass.
