the error came out in the information screen and does not go away.

I've tried resetting it and it comes back each time I turn the car back on.

any suggestions?
I've also checked the gas cap and nothing out of the ordinary.

Mine did that awhile back.

Cleaned everything with a damp towel, next startup code went away.

BTW it didn't look dirty, maybe just some dust was build up enough to stop it from making a good seal.

Just a damp soapy towel, Cleaned everything.

rubber piece on door (actually used the hose on the door) wiped all the inside of the fill area using the rag.

Yours is also the capless fill correct.

Alright now my check engine light came on "p0422" which is a small leak. Not sure what to do now. Probably taking it to ford tomorrow.

I did put on a new borla s type Catback on last week.

Did you happen to check the clearance between your over axle pipe and the filler neck? Might have slightly deformed a fitting if it's too close, letting a small amount of air in the system. The borla axle pipes are a close fit.

Yea I ended up taking it to ford and they changed the entire fuel inlet. And the reason being was the axlebacks.

Atleast I'm still under warranty.

Thanks for the help guys.
