I agree!

Phil, when will you hear from Dante about your engine?

Stewart

Oh, I got the call on that the other day.
Motor is toast. I fried an exhaust valve and burned up the seat.

Because that was around the same time I had swapped out the injectors
to the larger 750cc ones, the rich condition and the rough idle I assumed was because I didn't have pulsewidths set right and because the maf transfer was off. So, I leaned out my tune to make the wideband read correctly and in turn really leaned out the rest of the motor.

So Dante is going to build me a new motor now.

Wow. All that time, money, and patience you put into that thing.

Just wow...you're taking it well, bro!

LOL... well, I could cry but it wouldn't help.
Only can build it stronger now. I had a feeling for a while that things weren't right with the motor, but it kept belting out more and more power. So, in a morbid sort of way, I'm glad we actually found something. Besides, I always wanted a Dante motor after I saw how well Jody's ran.

I'm going to have to buy a boroscope... and dual wideband O2's. I think that those two would have saved me a lot of grief at many times in the past.

Dang dude, you're stepping up with a purchase like that! Those things aren't cheap!!

I want your money, I'll throw mine away!

Dual widebands would definitely be a plus.

LOL... yeah, believe me... I *really* appreciate the generosity. Thanks pal.
Although, now its making me reconsider my whole suspension setup!!!

I've been really good to your motor. Just having too much fun taking the sweeping turns getting on and off the freeway. That Steeda suspension is killer.
