Chicane strut brace

I am a newbie to this site and having a hard time Maneuvering this site I have a 2012 GT 500 and I would like to put the chicane strut brace on it somebody said there are some spacers that can be purchased to make this work looking for information Confirming this one way or the other

I suspect most people use washers. Keep in mind it has to clear the blower & not contact the hood blanket..

You are right. Was just hoping that somebody had some experience was with this I do have AJLT carbon fiber intake tube So that gives a little more clearance regarding the factory CAI.

JLT sells spacers I think. I have spacers on my strut bar that were used up until I put my BPS elbow on as it does not clear now. Let me grab some pics quick if I can of what they look like

If you don't mind me asking what kind of strut brace were you using and what year of 500 Do you have. Someone I've been able to read it's the elevens and 12 the have the clearance problems

I've just really got my heart set on that carbon fiber chicanes drop grace and you know how it is when you find something you really want on your car you just got to have it I mean if the dam thing just isn't going to fit that's all there is to it but if there is a way I'm trying to find it

I am not aware of what clearance issues you are referring to.
I have an 07.
I think it’s a stock brace?

I have a 2012 in apparently the 11and twelves have the clearance issue regarding a strut brace. Was just hoping somebody on the site would have had one or nous and by that had 1 that could chime in and give me a little info don't have the option to try 1 out would make things a whole lot easier . If I had a website I'd try to reach out to Someone that has them and maybe they could help me. I know I'm really reaching out here but wishful thinking it sounds like

Well if you are hellbent on getting it, just grab it and if you cannot clearance it just sell it off. I'd imagine it being a fairly rare piece and would sell fairly easily.
Did you try reaching out to Chicane directly?

After a little googling, this looks like an 07-09 piece. Hence probably why there are fitment issues on newer bodies.

I was just thinking the same thing about just buying the dam thing and doing just what you said no I don't know how to get hold of that chicane place I tried Google and it was unable to find a website
