It is the model. It usually designated the stator type and other parts on the converter that in the end dictates the converter stall speed. I contacted CircleD and they told me this model is a 3400 stall.

Most of the converter companies in one way or another custom build their converters of the information sheet you provide them. You don't need similar mods for it to work. But the 2B is closer to 3400 stall while the 2C is closer to 3200.
