I have enough chips and nicks in my front bumper, that I am thinking of repainting it. Are there any clear coats that are better or more durable than the rest? Or would it be best to use OEM clear and apply 3M paint protection film?

I repaint mine every 3-4 years. Clear bras will protect your paint but they will still end up getting beat up looking. There are different clear coats that you can use but my question to you is are YOU doing the painting? I do all of my own painting so I get to decide what supplies I use.
