When I jumped in the car and pushed the clutch down to start I heared a loud pop from the clutsh pedal area.
The clutch feels the same but the clutch engagement is now closer to the floor(beeing somewere in the middle before).Looked and felt at the cable by the pedal and it seems ok there and clutch(RAM) works fine when driving.
Stock cable, any ideas? I don,t want to be stranded with a broken cable if I can prevent it.

Oh, and I have tried to adjust the clutch before the Ford way with no luck

Thanks

Your oem quadrant probably broke a tooth. It's a 2 piece plastic POS. Dump it and install a nice locking F/W adjuster and quadrant. I like Fiore and Billetflow. Stay with the stock cable. Lots of threads on this.
