Installing a new clutch in my 2001 cobra and I am having some problems. I have everything put back in and the clutch fork is wobbling side to side and front to back. What could be wrong here? The peddle is also very loose even after pulling it back towards me in the driver seat self adjusting. Any help would be great.

The only thing i can think of that could possibly cause play would be a broken bearing sleeve, worn throw out bearing or the throw out bearing maybe wasnt positioned correctly? It will have fwd and aft play if your cable isnt putting preload on the throw out bearing. I used a firewall adjuster and clutch quadrant for that, never dealt with the stock piece.
