I have a 2004 mustang, im having a shfting issue. The car has 50k miles on it. I dont really have the money right now for a new clutch and flywheel. Everything is stock. The clutch is grabbing very high up on the pedal. It seems like no matter how much gas i give it or if i bring the pedal up slow or fast im getting a slight bucking or the occasional chatter, it seems to grab a lot better first thing in the am when everything is cold. I drive in stop and go traffic everyday 1 hour each way, it seems after the traffic the clutch feels worse and worse. Im not sure if my clutch cable is just stretched out or if it is time for a new clutch. I dont seem to be having any slippage while driving. The car is still very capable of chirping into second gear and occasionally into 3rd.
