Clutch noise question

I put a Spec 3 clutch in my car about a month ago and went through all of the proper break in procedures (1000 miles on clutch until beating on it) , went to the track and made 3 passes now the clutch sounds like a playing card in the spokes of a bicycle when engaging. The clutch does not seem to slip but just makes a lot of noise. Any ideas?

Oh GOD, the dreaded TOB/Retainer sleeve problem! Sounds similar anyway, but not sure if it would be the same since you had new clutch put in. Plenty of threads out here about this issue. Just search on "TOB" and read to you hearts content. If you know it's not related, then forget my reply. Good luck man!

I don't think it is the TOB retainer, I replaced that when I did the clutch.
