Clutch pedal question?

i just installed a new clutch on my mustang (99 GT) and it now has about 2K miles on the clutch and after a night of racing and high speed driving the clutch pedal lost its Stiff feeling it once had and the pedal now has some "play" in it i can push it in alittle before it engages the clutch is still great, but i can now hear my throw out bearing chirping as if its out already but thats also new? anyone have any ideas? thanks for the help in advance.

Try manually adjusting the clutch....the instructions are in the owner's manual.

For my 2 cent version, pull the clutch up towards you until it goes no further or you hear a click. Then push the clutch all the way to the floorboard. Side-step clutch. This will adjust the quadrant & remove any slack in the cable.
