The clutch started slipping a month ago . I bought an Exedy clutch. I had a friend install the clutch,flywheel PP, slave and pilot bearing. After the install the car would not go into first or reverse without shutting the car off. All other gears shifted fine. I called exedy tech line they said the slave was damaged from not bench bleeding. They sent a new slave we installed it after bench bleeding and now the car will go in all gears but reverse. Anyone have any ideas

reverse lock out solenoid plugged in?
Yes the lockout is hooked up and works.. I can shut the car off , turn the key switch on and it will go into reverse.. It is like the slave is not going far enough to fully disengage the clutch.
