My buddy recently purchased a 03' terminator and it has a fairly new centerforce stage 3 clutch. The clutch chatters when he lets it out mostly in reverse and 1st and 2nd... is this normal?

I HATED my Centerforce clutch! It sucks.
Was a new flywheel put on, or was the old one resurfaced?
I'm not sure, i will have to ask him and let you know.
love my centerforce dual friction i have no chatter or issues whatsoever, maybe his flywheel wasnt surfaced to spec or needed surfacing.

doesn't sound to me like a clutch problem if it's only prevalent in certain gears. What other tendencies does it have?
