Hey all, just purchased a 2008 shelby 2 weeks ago and going into first gear there is alot of chatter when it is hott. I only have my drivetrain warranty left on the car. Car has 7500 miles. will ford fix this under the drivetrain warranty?

not likely

chatter is normal, the TSB on the clutch has to do with the 1-2 shift not 1st gear engagement.

usally TSBs are only covered under bumper to bumper warranty, not drivetrain warranty but you can always call and ask.

They did mine on my 08 with 8,000 miles in Feb. I told them on fast 1-2 shift it would grind (it did once) and they replaced it all with the new version under warranty zero cost.

They will has to be less than 10000 miles and all u have to do is take a print out of the Tsb. I however do not care for the new clutch. There is no resistance on it the feel is like well a grandmoms car. It would be great if u deal with traffic but for sport driving it gets a big thumb down from me. Looking at a more sport clutch as we speak.
