That seems like more than 413whp for the Honda
It could very well be making 400whp. Its probably gutted to the max. It probably weighs nothing. Running e85 as well. Not that it matters, but, he also went up againts a cobra who put a 2.8 mammoth kit on the car and run it on pump gas. so it made the race look even worse.

Why is that? You can make anything crazy fast.
You have to be careful with Civics in general they are so light that even making in the 300+whp range they can be pretty lethal to most.
This. We got some nasty all motor ones where I currently am and they roll the heck out.

The civic probably weighs around 1600-2000 pounds. Power to weight is crazy.

Good kill for the rattle can! But seriously, if that Civic weighs 1800# and is making 400+whp, that's just over 4# per/hp (Cobra is probably closer to 6#/hp, which is still amazing)...of course it's going to be fast as ****! As it always comes down to, what do YOU want to go fast in? Something with leather/suede seats, power everything, a nice stereo system, AC, etc for a little more, or do you want a no frills, not good in any other realm other than point and shoot?
Yeah these days with enough time and money any car can be fast. Civic is likely sub 2000lb. But from what i have seen if your on pump gas he probably isnt making much more than a 2.2L KB would make. The gas limits him too much. Good runs tho.

Lol no kidding, if a 2.3 whipple lightning is faster than a 2.8 KB cobra than you're doing something wrong.
