I didn't see anything on my questions searching. I apologize if this has already been discussed. The black part of the Cobra on my grille has a few chips. I want to take a shot at painting those areas to fix it. Is the Cobra easily removed? If so can a new one be purchased from Ford if I screw up or do you have to buy the whole upper grille? Thanks!

Try not to screw it up, the OEM ones aren't cheap.
Also, when I put my screens in, I removed the grill to make it easier to work on. Only took a few minutes, held in by push tabs.
While I had it out, I painted my grill snake.

Yes they can be bought seprately and are double sided sticky taped to the grill. The emblem is like $75 or so.
