Cobra Police Car

I just saw on the late news that the Boynton Beach, FL police department purchased a yellow Cobra for a patrol car. It is outfitted with the usual police stuff inside and had lights in the grill and in the front facia.

I wonder if they added any performance mods?

the state patrol here in washington used to have 1987-1992 notch back 5.0 stangs with 5 spds. they quit using them because of transporting the criminals. needed a big back seat

They have had the car for about 4 months now... they got it from Bev Smith Ford ( reposessed.. drug car.. )

FHP has been using Camaro SSs for a while now... and 10 of those are manual..

FHP also has a Steeda Mustang GT...

A cop on this board from Hawaii has a Red 97 Cobra as his Cruiser. And it aint Stock!!! He also owns an 03, but his department hasn't approved it for use yet....
