Guys,

I'm throwing those 2 codes as of today, noticed the passenger side downstream o2 had ripped wires last night during an oil change. Could that cause both codes?

I'm lund tuned, no cats

The internet says

  • Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) stands for “Engine Misfire Detected on Startup (First 1000 Revolutions).”
  • The code is logged once one or more of the engine’s cylinders misfires during the engine’s first 1,000 revolutions.
  • Code P0316 is often logged with other P0300 series codes that are associated with the misfiring cylinder/s.

  • The powertrain control module (PCM) will log a P2270 trouble code when it detects that the #2 oxygen (O2) sensor on bank 1 is sending signals pertaining to a lean fuel mixture.
  • A faulty O2 sensor or an exhaust leak can cause diagnostics to log this code.
  • There are no other symptoms for this code except for an illuminated check engine light.
