Coil over help

I'm running front coil overs, when I jack the car up, the spring comes loose, so when I lower the car back down, I have to make sure the springs aligned right.. What can I do to resolve this?? I would like the to stay put..

Take a small zip tie and tie the top of the spring to the top of the shock (there probly is a hole there for it already). This will keep the spring from doing that.

The loose spring on full extension is normal.

Yes it is normal. If you ever notice when you get suspension travel while you're driving fast over dips or bumps and you hear noise, that's also what it is.
