Collector's Car Insurance (96 Cobra?)

Before buying my Lightning, I originally obtained a quote from Grundy's website on insuring my 96 Cobra. After completing the questionnaire, they provided me a quote on a modified value of $25,000 for $391 per year. When I went to call to secure coverage, they advised that they recently stopped covering vehicles 1988 or newer.

I've since checked out Hagerty, Aon, American Classics, etc. to no avail. I can't seem to find anyone who will write coverage on my seldom driven garage queen. I still have her insured through State Farm, but I would like to save a few bucks if I can.

Any suggestions? Anyone else with a collector car policy on their newer modified vehicle?

Thanks,
Brian

Every company I know of the car must be registered as a classic or extremely limited production.

Wouldn't a cobra mystic qualify as an extremely limited production?

Or does that mean something like 500 cars or less?
