Compressor: Best bang for the buck

Yeah, we had a big (120 gallon 10hp) SpeedAire compressor for years here. Only thing we ever did was change the oil but it kept running. That’s why I mentioned them. Grainger typically doesn’t sell crap, and what I’ve seen of their house brand is good stuff but it is usually manufactured in China.

To the OP, you might try rerouting the intake to help lessen the noise, that or pulley down. That’s the only caveat with that compressor. It’s just big enough to do all you need but runs at a higher rpm than the big boys.

I was thinking of building a sound proof barrier around it. That will have to wait until construction is done however. And with this virus problem, who knows when that will be. Can't get any contractors out here.
