computer module

I recently did the PIH swap to my 95 cobra and i looked the other day on the computer module and it said A3M1 on it instead of A9L and was wondering if they were the same thing. Any differences in them whatsoever. Any information will be helpful. Thanks

Call ford and they will tell you. I ran into that when I tried to change the module on my thunderbird. Ford updated the part and never bothered to send a message to the parts stores. That was fun to figure out.

Not quite as aggressive as the A9L, but you won't have any problems out of it. Ran one in my car for awhile.
