Considering a Torsen T2R LSD but have some ??

I'm getting ready to rebuild the ol' 8.8 and would like to go with a torsen T2R but don't know where to purchase one from. I have seen them priced at anywhere between $660 all the way up to $999.

Does anyone know where is be best place to purchase a T2R for the IRS 8.8?

Also I'm considering putting together a thorough DIY of rebuilding this housing if there is interest.

For those with the T2R or even True trac, what gear oil do you run? I'm guessing you don't need the friction modifier?
