Considering fixing my car real soon, PLEASE READ

ok, since my father wants to rebuild the motor to a 3.2, and have some tranny work done (wich would proboboaly be around 5 grand) , i think we should just get the damn thing running, you see , we spun the rod bearing, and i am sure it didnt hit the pan, so i am thinking of rounding up some money, and get the thing fixed, to do this what am i looking at 300 bucks if its done myself? , also, what other parts should i look in to, could possibly somthing else have broke due to the spun bearing?

not sure what it will cost over all.

I do know that when i shattered a connecting rod on my 95 it was a bitch. whole new short block. Bad bad. i hope you do'nt need the same.

well what did you do? Spun rod bearings and breakin a connecting rod are two completely different things..........
