I want to have cage like stiffness in a 99+ convertible chassis without any bars above the doors. Has anyone seen any designs around or have any ideas how I would proceed? This will be a street car pushing 600+ at the wheels. I would like to have the easiest entry and exit possible.

Would it be a good idea to maybe create a tube "spine" throughtout the transmission tunnel area? In this area the tubing can come up higher without getting in the way of exiting the car.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

I already have full length subframe connectors that are perimeter welded... this is not enough

I just did MM full length subs and the mm strut tower bar. I think it helped a good amount. I am going to be putting springs on it next and that should make it pretty tight.
