Convertible top boot

When I bought my car it was missing the convertible top boot. I found one on ebay (factory) from a guy, but I think he had a heavy box sitting on it for years because it just doesn't lay right. Plus it's not black, it's really dark grey. I need a black one.

Anyways, I'm wondering if any of you have found an aftermarket one that fits perfect and looks great.

AFAIK, there is no direct replacement boot. theres one that can be adapter for use but it uses ugly snaps. just grab another off ebay. look for 94-98 specific if you can. i dont think it matters but i suppose its possible the boot you bought is from a 99+ car with dark charcoal interior. i didnt think the boots matched the interior...maybe the one you bought was faded?
