So my rear window started leaking like they all eventually do :cuss:

Has anyone ever re-sealed the back window assembly themselves for cheap?

Where would be the best place to get a new rear window assembly and at what price?

Any info would be appreciated

I would take it to an upholstery/convertible top place ....don't mess with it, let a professional deal with it.

I used to always tell people to take the convertible top issues to a shop but there was a guy here recently who refused to take that advice, fixed it himself, and got great results.

Not sure exactly where the leak is my guess is the usual place...

The ford part number is 2R3Z-7652500-BAB and dead cost is $835.46. Fred Beans in Doylestown, PA has one in stock, no idea how long they've had it but they might be willing to cut a deal just to get it out of their system. The phone number is 800-771-8720 if you want to give it a shot.

Best of luck,
Mike

if i were you id get back there and find the hole. Mine had a small ass hole that i just patched and its been fine ever since. Even the smallest hole will flood the back part under the window with water. if you do find a small hole just use this stuff. Even if its a ten inch tear this stuff should work
Cabela's -- Tear-Aid Patch Kits took ten seconds to apply and its clear
