Convertible white bar question?

Anyone out there considering Installing one of these light bars on their convertible. I understand that these are mostly cosmetic just wondering if there are any that are actually structural piece. Also anyone have any preference in manufacturer or brand?

I installed one of these too, I like it. The vinyl cover matches perfectly the charcoal interior. I bought the windshield piece that comes with it also, cuts the wind considerably when you drive on the highway. It is cosmetic, you need a rollcage for any type of added protection though.
