As a R owner I'm biased towards the R; but my neighbor took me for a ride in his modified GT500 and all I can say is WOW! :burnout:
That car pulls like a mad man! When that supercharger starts whining that car is pushing you back in the seat! I can't imagine how scarey the 2013 will be (or one of the existing supersnakes).

The 13 years of suspension engineering tweeks probably matters more than the horsepower gains. Still a bit nose heavy with the SC but I would take a 2013 in a heartbeat. The more HP you have the quicker you realize how important the suspension is. Think Boss. I think it is great that Ford is providing such really incredible choices to us.

I've had an 00R, wouldn't mind owning a new GT500 now.

It doesn't hurt to try new things. I can only imagine what that car would do in the 1/4 mile with slicks and skinnies. I really cant see that car hooking up well with the 285's or 295's that come stock on the car. It really is amazing how much the technology on these cars improve every year.
