Coolant leak??

I took The Cobra out for the 2nd time since owning it last weekend and when I came back from my 30 mile drive I popped the hood and smelled coolant. I noticed a small puddle of coolant on the drivers side upper radiator bracket\support. Could a weld have cracked and is now leaking? I did not find any coolant on the ground under the car, just on this bracket at this point in time. The coolant tank is filled properly from the previous owner. The car is a 2004 and only has 1800 miles on it.

OEM or aftermarket radiator? Any coolant around your radiator cap or on top of your radiator expansion tank?

The car is 100% stock with no aftermarket parts or upgrades. I did not notice coolant anywhere else except in that one area?

Does it still have the original coolant mixture?

It is possible it is the original coolant. I will email the owner who was an active member here also now too find out. I am changing all the fluids to royal purple this weekend so maybe i should do a drain and fill on the coolant as well with the ford coolant?

I'd start off by getting a coolant pressure tester, you can rent them at numerous auto part stores.
