coolant leek from the cap

Tuesday was my annual track day.Was 85 degrees
Got a leek from the cap,i believe,coolant spray in the direction of the back of the engine.
Nobody had the same problem?

Sometimes when your Cobra overheats, the coolant cap will become slightly damaged and will not longer form a tight seal on the reservoir, thus allowing leakage under pressure.

True ... sometimes the surface warps where the cap seals...

Try the cap... if "no bueno"... get a jug... or a Quality Aluminum replacement tank... most.... if not all, will take a conventional style rad cap.... which IMHO are more reliable.
