Corbeau Seats

I need to find another set if seats soon.
Stock ones just arent cutting it. Im a big guy and need some comfort.
Anyone own the lg1 norm or wide? How do tey fit in the car etc...
Anyone have any advice with the shaved base.
Just looking for some info before dropping alot of money for seats.

I have a set of the LG1's in my 03. Mine are in all leather and are the standard width version. I'm 6' and weigh around 220lbs. Mine fit me perfect, but I can't gain any additional weight. If you're bigger than me, I'd suggest getting the wide version of the LG1.
I love mine, I've had them for 2 years and the only regret is that I didn't buy them sooner. I've found that they sit you a bit lower in the car, which I like a lot. After about a year, the handle on the side that reclines or folds the back of the seat forward malfunctioned. I called Corbeau, and within 2 days I had a replacement part to my door, excellent customer support in my experience. From what I understand, this is a freak malfunction, I only mentioned it to explain of their customer support. I'm afraid I can't speak to your question of the shaved base. I had CR1 Wides in my VR4 and absolutely loved them., Cant speak for the filament in the cobra

If you get anything but leather the sun will fade them very fast. Make sure to keep them out of the sun.
