My girlfriends parents just got a letter in the mail stating that their equity line of credit they had on their house, and have been using for the past year or so, is now frozen and they cannot access it at all. They are in between jobs right now and were using that money to live on and now it's gone. How f'ed up is this? I'm trying to find a link of some kind to post up here.
