Hey everyone -

I am rather new here but just picked up a 2004 Black Cobra. I have ordered the FM AT Cat Back (love the sound of this system on a Mustang) and want to swap out the tips as the 3" are a bit narrow. I was looking at the MRT 3.5" rolled tips and wondered if these would be suitable to weld on? The reason I ask is because I am not sure if their 16" length is the right size, because there isn't much straight piping (2-3"?) behind the SS FM tips before they begin to bend and I am afraid I won't have enough adjustability front to back to get the look perfect with the rear bumper. Should I go with a 12" long tip? Anyone who's welded in tips have any ideas as to which tips I could use?

mustang_walker, I saw in one of your posts that you welded in 4" tips to your AT system, where did you get those and how long were they?

Thanks in advance for any help.
