Cowl Vent Cracks

I did some searching and found that many New Edge owners, like myself, have a cracked cowl vent. And also like me, they can't stomach shelling out $200 for the damn thing. I'm trying to hunt down a vibration noise and didn't know if anybody else had experienced any noises emanating from these cracked vents??

Mine is cracked, Nice find on the two piece. I saw some carbon fiber ones on ebay. Everytime I find one in a pull a part it is cracked too

Mine is cracked too, the local dealer wanted $242!!!....No thanks...I can live with the crack until I can find a used one.
