We went around a turn, which had an on-ramp in it, so I guess he came up the ramp as we had already went around the bend, because he wasn't there when we checked a few seconds before we took off lol. He was the only other car behind or in front of us for a while.

edit: yes, we went about 30 minutes away to race after the incident.

Nice races. One thing I don't understand is why would the corvette keep heating up its street tires? Doesn't that just make them greasy? Or did I miss where it said they were drag radials...

Imo its pretty fair for the c6 to have a cam to narrow the gap some on the horsepower. Its still down over a 100 at the tires to the shelby.
