...but I appreciate all cars, fast is fast is fast.

Shopping around for something in a couple years, I'm damn fond of these newer supercharged Fords and enjoy reading about the progress you guys are making with them.

See ya around!

I hate to make that classification between "imports" and "domestics" but I'm afraid those designations are going to be with us forever.

It's a 2001 VW GTI 5-speed, 1.8T engine with a few mods. Previous cars were an '88 Honda CRX and a '91 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, both 5-speeds as well.

I'll revise this post and the following posts with more details later.

Car has 33,000 miles and mods include:
-APR chip with stock, 93, and 100 octane programs
-Audi "H" N75
-Audi TT short-shifter
-K&N drop-in air filter, non-modded airbox
-black Samco silicone boost hoses w/ stainless T-bolt clamps
-ABD Racing lower intercooler pipe
-Forced Performance side-mount intercooler (bigger than Forge)
-PowerGasket
-vented wheelwell liner
-GHL 3" turbo-back with high-flow cat, no resonator, and turn-down tip
-2 Sparco Speed seats with Sparco 4-point cam-lock harnesses
-Auto Meter "Phantom" 30-0-30 boost gauge in carbon fiber cup on steering column
-in.pro green taillights
-crystal clear bumper lights

Put down 144HP/161TQ in stock mode, 192HP/219TQ in 93 octane mode, and 202HP/230TQ in 100 octane "race" mode last November with the ONLY other mods being K&N drop-in and HyperBoost DV.

Car has gone from 15.6 @ 90 MPH bone stock, to 14.4 @ 96 MPH with chip/K&N/HyperBoost, to it's current 13.9 @ 101 with the other mods and weight reduction (recently weighed in at 2620 pounds without driver, WITH 1/8 tank of gas, spare, and one seat).

I'll post more details later, please IM or reply if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!

Not bad!

Hey you know that domestic vs. import line is getting more and more crossed -
Like the 2004 Pontiac GTO, for example, is the Holden Monaro from Australia -
Food for thought
