CV Axle Removal.. HELP URGENT

I got my focus jacked up and the cv axle hangin by the tranny... I cannot get the axel out of the tranny... is there something special i need to do? in a certain gear or just brute force with a pry bar? I dont want to mess anything up.. so if somebody could chime in, I would be greatful,,,,,,,

Just use a pry-bar and pop it out. I usually use kind of a bouncing/jerking motion. Be careful not to break the trans case where your prying. Sometimes they can be stuck pretty good. Only thing that holds them in is a little spring clip/ "C" clip. Good luck.
