I searched but came up with nothing. What is the weight of the 4v cylinder heads that come on the gt500s? I read that they (5.4/5.8) are the same besides a cooling passage for the 5.8L so I guess which engine it came off of doesn't matter. The weight im looking for is the head complete +/- valve cover but complete with cams.
Also looking for the length from the flat surface of the intake ports to where the head meets the block.
Do you guys gain much from porting these 4v heads?
Do crank snouts snap as often on these 4v setups as they do on 2v setups? Seems to happen often in the 2v game when spinning the snot out of a 2.3L+ blower.
Im looking to do a complete 5.4L 4v gt500 swap on a lightning and slap either a 3.4L or a 4.0L whipple on top. I will be shooting for 900+ rwhp and 900+ rwtq on e85. Plan on using my iron block and the rest of my forged internals.
