cylinder head stud torque

Hi every one
looking for some information regarding the ARP head stud torque procedure
any help will be appreciated
thanks in advance ..

Check ARP's website for the latest instructions. I'm not sure that iron blocks have the same specs as aluminum blocks and you didn't specify. Be sure you follows Ford's torque pattern and start out at a low torque spec (~35 ft./lb.) and work your way up, using the right sequence. Make sure the head and block surfaces are clean before you install.

i have got the iron block,i have assemble the block last week
and the mechanic torque the head stud to 75ft/lb
and on the first WOT in 4th gear the head gasket blowup
i have to do it right this time

Make sure you use ARP's ultra torque assembly lubricant. Their specs assume you're using this moly based lubricant. If you don't, you'll get a false torque reading and under torque the head. I used 85 ft. lbs. on my engine.
