For quite a while now I've had this annoying metallic ringing noise coming from the drivers side front (could be somewhere in the dash also). It has nothing to do with RPM's or load on the engine. It basically occurs above 60 mph no matter what I'm doing so it's some type of vibration. It is intermittent at times, but it's there 75% of the time. My car is loud and has 178k miles so, needles to say, I have about 12 various squeaks and rattles at highway speeds, but this one drives me absolute nuts!
I'm parking it for the winter soon so I'll try and start searching then, but I didn't know if maybe by some coincidence that this was a common issue? I'm sure it could be many different things and it will be hard to replicate with the car not moving.
