Damn you Maryland speed camera

So I just went to Bethesday to see my mother-in-law w/ my wife, and I'm driving home when I see 2 flashes of light.

It didn't dawn on me until I was driving a little further and noticed a speed camera. I was literally doing 11 mph over the limit, and it got me. I know the fine is only $40 but still.

I'm glad VA said these were unlawful.

Just wanted to vent!!!

I think in Montgomery county, they only have speed cameras where the speed limit is 35 or less. They are definitely tricky and there are a ton of them further north in the county.

My wife and son have been poped by the speed cameras.
I've been lucky so far.

But in MoCo they don't pop 'till 10 over. I hate getting stuck behind someone doing 5 under because there's a camera there. :cuss:

I have had no problems with MD Police Both local and State have given me many of warnings. Most recent was on the way to OC last Spring getting onto 50 from Zaxjax's exit. Rob can confirm. I believe in the past three years I have received 4 or 5 warnings LOL MD has been nice to me!

VA - Went to fight the 90 in 55 ticket I received and was told my case was dismissed because the officer died. One of those happy but sad moments...

Yeah - I distinctly remember a red light speed camera they used to set up in Fairfax on 123 that was still issuing tickets AFTER the state house banned them. Everyone was furious! :lol1:
