ok here is some info on what happen. Best part about this info is "Carlton got out and walked away under his own power."

Carlton lost control of the car right before the finish line in the finals against Shannon Ragsdale. The car took an immediate right, up a dirt embankment, and rolled several times before coming to a rest. Carlton got out and walked away under his own power. The car is a loss but they said they will be back soon, just as strong. This was a beautiful street car, that Thompson built himself. As stated in his rear window, this was "The World's Fastest Real Limited Street Car" with a 4.94 at 150 mph. We wish you fast recovery!
