hey guys, need some tips/help on getting started on datalogging. i currently have tunes from bama and want to start datalogging to get the AED tune but im a total noob at this... i have the live link downloaded, now what?
You will need to have the livelink software installed on a laptop. Your Handheld tuner will connect to your OBD port and into your laptop. When you bring up live link, it will bring up an option for you to click on that says "I want to datalog a vehicle" and it will pretty much walk you through the rest of the process.
There are a ton of parameters that you can log so what you will want to do is get with AED and find out which parameters they are interested in having you log and what type of drive cycles they are interested in having you perform.
