I recently swapped my blower for a ported one and also deleted the PCV system and EGR while it was all apart getting cleaned. I have a old predator tuner v. 8r9 which still has the option to shut off egr.
I go into the tunes ( 91 octane tune ) then to modify tune in OBDII settings shut off egr then load the tune.
Service engine light goes off and code p1401 ( differential pressure feedback EGR circuit high input ) is cleared.
As soon as I shut off the truck and restart it code and service light are back on. I go back into the OBDII settings for the egr switch and its turned back on ?
Is there a step I'm missing, why wont it save ? Thanks in advance for any help
