So here is he latest update on my journey with the 14 GT. This time I added an Airraid intake and an SCT and took it back to the track. Still on the stock 19's with the pirelli rubber.

So far the mods are:

AIRraid intake
Magnaflow axle backs
Magnaflow catless x pipe
SCT tuner (93 tune it comes with)
BMR LCA's with brackets
BMR pan bar
Ford Racing lowering springs K
Barton 2 post shifter bracket (MT-82)

Before the latest mods the best pass was a 12.90

How many miles are on the car? I'd think in FL it would be faster. Mine went faster than that stock and I have a heavier glass roof car. Did cat delete, CAI, bama tune and went 12.2 @ 118 for comparison.

Car just broke the 10k mile mark. How much power was your car putting down when it ran the 12.2@118? I'm curious to see what the differences could be between the two. 4 tenths and 4 mph is a good bit of difference.

How does it feel just DD'ing with the sct tuner and the bolt ons compared to stock? I just drove a 13 today and it honestly didn't feel as torquey as i thought it would just going through the gears. Thought it would have some more balls but figured a tune would solve that.

The car made a pretty noticeable change as to how it feels with the bolt ons that were added. With a custom tune I'm sure the car could pick up a good 15whp and that would put it at roughly 400whp.

get rid of that canned tune stuff and get a real tune and id bet the car would be faster.

I have essentially the same mods as you do. I haven't ran my car yet. Can you post a picture of your car so I can see how it sits with your choice of suspension mods?

Not bad, what was your stock mph? 60' is killing you. You need some DR's.

I'm a big AED fanboy...I vote for that and see what you can run. I am headed to a track here in Chicago tomorrow. I haven't been in over 8 years. I'm excited to see what I can run.

Not much faster than I did bone stock on stock tires :shrug:

Bone stock ran 12.90 so it's not a huge improvement but not bad considering the MPH improvement.
