Diff. on Vortech V-1 and V-2 Chargers

I've found a guy selling a used Vortech V-1 kit for my 96 Cobra and I was wondering what is the Diff. between the V-1 and V-2 Super Chargers. He is asking $1500 for it and says that it has 5000 miles on it. Thanks

V2 has a slightly different impeller design making it more efficent. Other than that I don't think there is a difference.

V-1 or V-2

V-1 has straight cut gears which makes it whine louder. V-2 has helical cut gears and is a SQ model for (super quiet). Both produce similar boost levels. Ive had both and prefer the V-1 whine.;-)
