I was just wondering because my rear sway bar just broke and after searching around I didn't see any mention of front bars breaking ever. So I am thinking if they eventually do, maybe I should get both now or just focus on the rear. thanks
I've never seen a front break and that was the first time even hearing about 1 breaking.
thanks. do es the Eibach rear one require any special modding/parts?
I contacted maximum Motorsports a couple years ago asking their opinion on whether I should upgrade to the eibach sway bars or not. I was looking at the same ones posted in the link above. I had a certain amount of money to spend and was either going to do sway bars or subframe connectors. Here's the email reply they sent back.
"If the car corners well for you, leave the swaybars alone.
If the car is a bit tail happy, remove the rear bar. Most of our shop cars
do not have a rear sway bar of any type.
Our road race cars have our softer than stock front bar with little or no
rear sway bar. (We make up the lack of sway bars in the damper/springs we
use on those cars.)
Most "street only" drivers like the way the larger swaybars FEEL, but don't
push their cars hard enough to realize the car doesn't actually corner
better with them."
